For this 2nd round gallery, we’ve focused on shaker and rustic (i.e. similar to Brookings and Bryson from gallery 1) vanities that are made out of solid, engineered and/or reclaimed wood. If none of these vanities are “the one,” just let us know what you like or dislike about these vanities and we will keep looking until we find one you love.

Shaker - 48” - 50” options (these are around the same size as your current vanity).

Brookings 49.61” Single Sink Vanity
available from Wayfair, currently on sale for $819.04

Shaker styling with modern elements. Made of engineered wood with veneer finish.

Worth noting: slightly larger than existing vanity and base has solid toe kick so no issues with condition of floor under vanity.

48” Elise Vanity by Virtu, currently available from Houzz for $1,357.

Shaker styling. Solid wood frame with wood plywood doors, drawer fronts & side panels. Includes carrera marble top with 20.08 in. W x 14.96 in. D x 7.68 in. H undermount square sink.

Worth noting: It’s an espresso brown but it’s a solid color, not a stain so the wood grain won’t be very visible. Arched bottom will show some floor but not a ton.

Fresca 49” Kingston vanity, currently on sale for $1899 from farmsinkshop.com (prices elsewhere are in the $2300 range)

Shaker doors with classic detailing. Solid wood frame with wood veneer over MDF doors & panels. Includes carrera marble countertop with backsplash and undermount 17.3” W x 12.2” D x 7.5” H square sink.

Worth noting: Optional matching mirror 36” x 33” mirror also available. Arched bottom will show some floor but not a ton.

Shaker - wall to wall options (made by Merillat, sold by Reico):

In order to get pricing, we would first need to know which configurations, materials and stain you’d like. If you’d like to pursue this route, I recommend that we meet at the Reico showroom in Elkridge where you can see samples of the different woods and stain colors.

For the Shaker wall to wall option, we would assemble a 27” wide sink cabinet with a 12” inch wide cabinet on either side and use a matching filler piece to hide the ~1.5” gap on either side. For the sink cabinets you can choose between 1 single faux drawer across the top or 2 faux drawers across the top. The 12” side cabinets can be configured with 4 drawers, 3 drawers or a single drawer with a cabinet door below. The cabinets can be ordered 18” or 21” deep (18” is usually only used in very small bathrooms) and at 31-1/2 or 34-1/2” high.

Merillat offers 2 different shaker style cabinets, each with 2 styles of drawer fronts as follows:

The Merillat Clasic Portrait cabinet features doors and drawer fronts that completely cover the frame so when you put the cabinets together, they form a continuous plane across the front. They offer 2 drawer front style - a flat front and a shaker front. Portrait cabinets come in Maple, Cherry or Oak. The Maple cabinets can be stained a wide variety of colors - the 4 shown here are the ones I think you’d like best. The Cherry version can be stained Sable or Amaretto (which looks almost exactly like Toffee shown above). They also offer an oak version but it can only be stained in the dark Kona color.

The Marlin cabinet has inset doors and drawer fronts so when you put the cabinets together, you’ll see a vertical indentation between each each component’s doors or drawers. They also offer a flat or shaker drawer front. The Marlin only comes in Maple and is available in the 3 stain colors shown above.

In addition to vanity cabinets, they also offer a floor-standing storage unit that comes in 84”, 90, or 96” high in either a 15”, 18” or 24” width. They also have 2 wall hanging options that are 24” and 25” wide respectively. The 24” wide version has an open shelf while the 25” wide version has an open shelf, towel bar and decorative side panels. They also offer recessed, medicine cabinet style storage (not shown above).

48” - 50” Rustic Options (these are around the same size as your current vanity).

48” Whatman Hardwoods Reclaimed Barnwood Shaker Vanity, available from Whatman Hardwoods for $1590. Countertop sold separately. They offer 50” epoxy countertops in a range of colors that ship free with the base for $590. We can also get a countertop elsewhere.

Solid pine reclaimed barn wood. Can be finished with Matte Conversion Varnish (shown) or hand rubbed wax (see examples to right).

Whatman Hardwoods Varnish and Wax finishes shown above.

Line drawing shows layout for 48” wide cabinet with drawers to either side of a sink base with cabinet doors.

Note solid toekick will hide floor.

50” Whatman Hardwoods Reclaimed Pine Shaker Vanity, available on Etsy for $1425. Same countertop options available as Whatman Hardwoods vanity shown above. Your sink is centered so this configuration might require a plumber to move the drain line (I’d have to see how the back of the vanity is configured to know for sure).

Rustic Wall-to-Wall Option:

Whatman Hardwoods (see 2 barnwood cabinets immediately above) will make custom sizes so if you like their work, we can ask them for costs to make the vanity 53” wide so it runs wall to wall. On their website and Etsy shop, they show vanities/cabinets made from other types of reclaimed wood and with other design elements. The following examples are not the right size for your bathroom but should give. you good sense of some of the things you could ask them to do if you have them make you a custom built vanity. I’m sure that any. of the style elements and wood types shown below could be used on a vanity with a solid toe kick.
