The following vanities come are the closest matches to the Brookings and Glacier Bay Hampton vanities you liked that I could find.

Your powder room is exactly 36” wide and the distance from your wall to the door trim is 21-3/8.” The bottom of your mirror is 33-5/8 from the floor. Unfortunately, there are very few vanities that will fit those dimensions without either modifying the vanity, shaving/notching your door trim or cutting into the drywall.

I have therefore included some smaller vanities that would not run wall to wall but could be installed without modification as well as all of the 36” shaker style vanities I’ve found that could be made to fit your space. Where applicable, I’ve noted any modifications needed and costs to perform those modifications in the notes with each design.

You’ll notice that some prices are significantly higher than others. In most cases, the pricing relates to the materials, with solid wood costing more than engineered wood and veneered particle board being the least expensive.

36” Vanities

Pros: run wall to wall. Cons: require modifications as noted below.

Empire Industries 37” wide x 22” deep White Ceramic Vanity Top for 36” vanity available from Wayfair for $323.90. Sink basin is 20 wide x 12.7long x 5.1 deep. Vanity top is predrilled for 8” widespread faucet.

Total height of Brookings vanity with this sink top will be 32.25” so it will hit about 1.5” below the bottom of your mirror. This vanity top could also be used with the Hampton vanity (below), and would make the Hampton it 2.5” below the bottom of your mirror.

Note that it has a very minimal backsplash.

Design House Brookings 36” Vanity
available from Wayfair, currently on sale for $470.57 + Empire White Ceramic Vanity Top for $323.90 or a total of $794.47 + tax
Made from poplar and engineered wood. Vanity is 36” wide x 21” deep x 31.5” high.

Modifications needed:
• Depending on the design of the hinge mechanism, the door trim might interfere with the left cabinet door opening fully. If it does, we would need to shave off the edge of the door casing where it abuts the vanity and repaint it.
• The countertop that works with this vanity is 1” wider than the bathroom so we would need to cut into the drywall to install it, and then repair and repaint the wall. We would also need to notch the door trim to accommodate the 22” depth and repair the existing notch since it’s at a different height.
These modifications would add around $250 - $350 to the budget.

Glacier Bay 37” wide x 22” deep Cultured Marble Vanity Top for 36” vanity at Home Depot for $286.00. Sink basin is 19.41 wide x 14.74 long x 7.63 deep. Vanity top is predrilled for 4” centerset faucet.

Total height of Hampton vanity plus this sink top will be 33” so it will hit about 3/4” below the bottom of your mirror. This vanity top is too thick to be used with the Brookings vanity above.

Note that it has a very minimal backsplash.

Glacier Bay Hampton 36” vanity. Available from Home Depot for $309 + Glacier Bay Countertop for $286 for a total of $ 595 + tax.
Face frame, drawer faces and door frame are solid wood and the rest is particle board. Vanity is 36” wide x 21” deep x 30.5” high.

Modifications needed:
• This vanity’s cabinet door appears to be inset from the edge of the cabinet so we believe it will clear your door trim. If not, we would need to cut the trim as described above and the budget would also be the same as above.
• The countertops that works with this vanity are also 1” wider than the bathroom so we would need to cut into the drywall to install it, and then repair and repaint the wall. We would also need to notch the door trim to accommodate the 22” depth and repair the existing notch since it’s at a different height.
These modifications would add around $185 - $285 to the budget.

Eviva Lime 36” Solid Wood Vanity in “Teak (Dark Brown|)” with White Jazz Cararra Marble Top. Available from Home Depot for $1,531.61. Optional white Carrara side splashes are available from Home Depot for $49.95 each. Solid wood construction and real marble top explain higher price tag. Vanity is 34-5/8” wide x 21-5/8” deep and the included vanity top is 35-3/8” wide x 22” deep.

Modifications Needed:
• Height including top with backsplash is 34-5/8” so we would need to cut 1” off the legs, which I think we can do within the original budget quoted.
• We will need to shave ~1/4” off the door trim where it abuts the vanity, cut a notch to accommodate the countertop depth and repair the existing notch, adding ~$145 to the budget.

Note that this is the only vanity with backsplash we’ve found that can fit under your mirror. Vanity top is predrilled for a single hole faucet.

35” VANITIES

Pros: runs almost wall to wall. cons: counter is less deep than existing, also I could only find 1 design in this size, though it comes in 3 colors.

The following vanities are smaller and would fit in your powder room without modification other than repairing the door trim where it is currently notched, which would add ~ $45 to the budget.

W Online 35” Freestanding Vanity With Ceramic Top. Available from Wayfair for $499.99 (white) or $569.99 (grey or black). Vanity made from MDF and manufactured wood.

Vanity is 33.46” wide x 17.72” deep and the included vanity top is 35.8” wide x 18.1 deep so the front of this vanity would hit about 3” shy of the door trim. Height including vanity top is 33.46 so it will hit just below the mirror.

Note that there is no backsplash and vanity top is predrilled for a single hole faucet.

30 inch vanities with 22” depth

pros: OFFERs A FEW MORE OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. Cons: don’t run wall to wall so less counter space and will require us to repair and paint the wall(s) currently hidden by existing vanity.

Eviva Acclaim 30” Solid Wood Vanity with Carrera Marble Top. Available from Home Depot for $999 in Espresso, White or Grey or $ 1,029 in Blue. Solid wood construction and real marble top explain higher price tag.

Vanity is 30” wide x 21.75” deep and the included vanity top is 30.5” wide x 22 deep, basin is 17” w x 12” l x 8” d.

Note that there is no backsplash and vanity top is predrilled for an 8” widespread faucet. Sink basin is offset to the left, which gives you more useful counter space to the right, and more functional storage but may require the vanity to be installed off center to accommodate existing plumbing.

Modifications needed:
• Height including vanity top is 34 so we would need to trim 3/8” off the feet to have it fit under the mirror.
• If installed against the right wall (so sink is closer to center) we will need to repair and paint the left wall where it’s currently hidden by the existing vanity. Unfortunately, we can’t give a cost for that until we see what kind of shape the wall is in but you’re probably looking at somewhere between $150 and $300.

30 inch vanities with 18” depth

pros: OFFERs A FEW MORE OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. Cons: don’t run wall to wall and are only 18” deep so significantly less counter space and will require us to repair and paint the wall(s) currently hidden by existing vanity.

Glacier Bay Delridge 30.2” Vanity with White Cultured Marble Top.
Available from Home Depot for $319 in Pearl Grey only. Made entirely from particle board.

Vanity and Top together are 30.25” wide x 18.75” long x 32.89” tall so the front of this vanity would hit about 2-1/4” shy of the door trim giving you significantly less counter space. The top of the countertop will hit about 3/4” below the mirror. Sink basin is 18.78 w x 11.33 l x 5” d.

Modifications needed:
• There will be 2-7/8” between the countertop and the walls on either side so we would need to repair and paint both walls where they are hidden by the existing vanity. Unfortunately, we can’t give a cost for that until we see what kind of shape the walls are in but you’re probably looking at somewhere between $150 and $500.

Note that there is no backsplash and vanity top is predrilled for a 4 inch centerset faucet.

Glacier Bay 30” Freestanding Vanity with White Cultured Marble Top. Available from Home Depot for $199.00 in Pearl Grey only. Made entirely from particle board.

Modifications needed:

Unfortunately, we can’t give a cost for that until we see what kind of shape the walls are in but you’re probably looking at somewhere between $150 and $500.
